Tech/Engineering - Engineering: Industrial / Glass manufacturer
German term or phrase: Glashüben
I am translating a document for a glass manufacturer on how glass should be stored in the factory and for transportation. I am stuck with the above word. Can anyone please help?

Abhängig von der Glaslänge sind mindestens 4 und, wenn möglich, 5 Wabenpappen zwischen den Glashüben anzubringen.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Wendy, the spelling of the word is the same throughout the text and often also written without "Glas" in front of it so I cannot see this being a typo. However, I was thinking of "batch" or "pack" in the context myself.

between each lift (of glass)

Explanation:
Hub, -übe = lift, lifts

This is a long shot but they may be referring to the fact that each sheet of glass must be lifted (see reference) with special equipment during packaging. Between each "lift" of glass, or sheet, these Wabenpappen (honeycomb type cushioning material) are placed to prevent the glass from breaking.

However, I don't understand the use of the dative in this case (Hübe, instead of Hüben)
