I'm not sure what "softe" means. It must be some sort of compromise, but could somebody confirm this (or put me right?) Thanks very much |

It looks to me as though this is an English word being used with a German adjectival ending - something I'm noticing more and more these days! I think you are right to assume it means some kind of compromise. "Soft", because you are avoiding coming down hard on one side or the other, I suppose. |
