neutral  Jim Tucker (X): ok, but if you're putting it on a sign at a school, I'd make it sound official, like this: "Appoint Fire Watch!" or "Designate a Fire Watch" ("guard" is fine too, though "watch" is explicit that their job continues after the fire is out, to secure it)
