Context:

"Öffnung frei halten und gegen Eindringen von Fremdkörpern oder Regenwasser durch Dachhaube bzw. Bogen sichern"

A previous version of the same document said "Dachhaube bzw. Winkel und Schutzgitter" instead of "Dachhaube bzw. Bogen". What would the right term for Bogen be here? I'm a little stumped.

i.e. the pipe is bent (or a pipe bend is added) in such a way that rain, etc., can no longer get in.

Yes, either "a bend in the pipe" or "a pipe bend" (= a curved piece of pipe), depending whether the existing pipe itself can be bent or an additional curved piece needs to be fitted.

Asker: ...although in that case it would seem best to me to say "a bend in the pipe", rather than just "a bend". Would you agree?

Asker: You're right, I doubt the customer ought to try and bend the existing pipe.
