Werden die Modelle auch geeignet *in Repositorien verwaltet* und stehen *geeignete Sichten* auf diese Modelle zur Verfügung, so bilden diese nicht mehr nur eine Entscheidungshilfe in einer speziellen Aktivität der Entwicklung, sondern stellen das Entwicklungsergebnis selbst dar.

Ich hab den Satz jetzt schon so oft gelesen, daß mir gar nix mehr einfällt. Weiß jemand genaueres über repositories und Sichten (views?"). Was passiert da? Und was kann ich machen, daß der englische Satzbau besser wird als der deutsche?

Der Titel dieses Textes ist: Modellbasierung in der Entwicklung automotiver Elektrik/Elektronik-Systeme.

This could be easier to understand
"Manage the models adequately in repositories. Allow adequate views on these models (or: Make adequate views on these models possible). This way, they (will) remain not only decision aids to a certain activity of the development, but also represent the result of the development."
Maybe the two can be combined.

and a \"view\" simply means that you have a chance to look at your models. I would imagine it this way: a photo of a car gives a bad view. A 3-d model a much better one.
