Die Anrechnung der Geschäfte zum Limite kann nach verschiedenen Verfahren erfolgen. Grundsätzlich unterscheidet die NNNN zwei Verfahren:
1. Anrechnung des Exposure At Default (EAD). Dabei werden risikoreduzierende Techniken nicht zugelassen.
2. Anrechnung des unbesicherten EADs: Hier sind verschiedene Abstufungsgrade bzw. auch Techniken denkbar, die von der teils auch von der Struktur des Limits bestimmt sind.
a. Risikotransfer durch garantieähnliche Instrumente, sofern diese entsprechend anerkennungsfähig (z.B. im Sinne von Basel II / EU CAD).
b. Risikotransfer durch alle anerkannten Sicherheiten (interne Bewertungsmaßstäbe).
