German to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / automated teller machines (ATMs)
German term or phrase:Ware gegen Ware
This is from the introduction to a 'system description' for an ATM system. I think it should be related to 'Tauschhandel' (retail barter), but wondered if anyone knew of a closer equivalent.
Apologies, if my question was misleading (!). The text seems to relate to cash systems for use in shops/stores e.g. at tills, where refunds can be made and cash-back facilities exist. I've found the phrase in a complete sentence:
"Bei Ware gegen Ware Faellen am Return (gleicher Betrag des Return und Verkaufsbon) wird dieser Fall ueber Cashnet gehaendelt"
Therefore, almost certainly nothing to do with bartering!!
