I understand what is meant but cannot come up with the correct term. Any suggesstions are much appreciated. |

Something as technical-sounding as phase-shifted sounds faintly ridiculous in the context of economics - like Hilary, I would want to re-word it in some way to get the underlying idea across. (After all, if you say that there is a Hoch every 9 years and a Tief every 9 years, you don't have to be very clued up to realise that the Hoch and the Tief aren't going to occur at the same time! |
