German to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Leasing | | German term or phrase: Abwicklungsvorgaben | The word appears in a subtitle in a document about financing/leasing aircraft:
Rahmenbedingungen / Abwicklungsvorgaben
It is followed by a brief list of requirements such as liability insurance requirements and the requirement for entry in the aircraft register. The only item in the list that refers to 'Abwicklung' is 'SLB-Abwicklung möglich' (SLB is sale and lease-back).
I can't think of anything neat for this term and would be grateful for any help at all.

I can't tell you how many times I have cursed the word "Abwicklung" in my lifetime! You have my sympathies.
This is just a suggestion based on the information you provided, I also sometimes use "specifications" for Vorgaben. In the end you'll have to decide what you think is best for your context.

Thanks, too, for your sympathy, Janet - it's quite consoling to know I'm not the only one whose heart sinks at the sight of the work 'Abwicklung'.
