Was bedeutet Andienungsrecht?

Der Begriff Andienungsrecht wird bei Leasinggeschäften verwendet. Dabei ist das Andienungsrecht das Recht des Leasinggebers, dem Leasingnehmer das geleaste Objekt nach Ablauf der vereinbarten Laufzeit zum Kauf anzubieten. Wird dem Leasingnehmer das Objekt zum Kauf angeboten, so muss er das angediente Objekt übernehmen. Bei Verträgen mit Andienungsrecht entscheidet also der Leasinggeber, ob der Leasingnehmer das Vertragsobjekt am Ende der Laufzeit ankaufen muss.
Häufig handelt es sich dabei um geleaste Fahrzeuge. Bei einem Leasingvertrag mit Andienungsrecht wird bei Vertragsabschluss ein Restwert kalkuliert. Auch wenn bei Ablauf des Vertrages das Fahrzeug gegebenenfalls weniger als der kalkulierte Restwert wert sein sollte, hat der Leasinggeber das Recht, dem Leasingnehmer das Fahrzeug zu dem ursprünglich vereinbarten Restwert anzudienen, den dieser dann auch zahlen muss. Liegt der Restwert des Fahrzeuges bei Ablauf höher als der ehemals kalkulierte Restwert, so ist davon auszugehen, dass der Leasinggeber dem Leasingnehmer das Fahrzeug nicht zum Kauf anbieten wird, also sein Andienungsrecht nicht ausübt.

Asker: it seems that it's about requiring the payment of a residual value, and it also says in pt 1 that the lessee has to give the leased asset back, so how can it be 'right to require purchase' as you suggest?
