German term or phrase: Insolvenzmasse
Im Insolvenzfall....darf das Fondsvermögen nicht der Insolvenzmasse zugeschlagen werden.

are not available for distribution to the creditors
Explanation:
This is presumably because the assets in the fund are protected as a proprietary interest, i.e. held on trust for the investors.

Creditors who have personal contractual claims against the company could not claim the assets in the fund because they are the property of the investors.

In a personal bankruptcy this is known as the bankrupt's estate.

neutral xxxKirstyMacC: what about the zuschlagen? Made part of the personal debtor's insolvent ESTATE or corporation in ADMINISTRATION > no need to specify ASSETS (co. 'estate' is debatable.)

insolvency assets

Explanation:
Since there is a term for German "Konkursmasse" -> bankruptcy assets (ref: LEO) I would choose the simliar term for the case of insolvency.
