From a catalogue for catering equipment such as food counters. Few dictionaries have a translation for "Aufstellboden", but DicData is kind enough to suggest "floor". I'm not sure whether that's correct in this context or not though. TIA for any light you can shed on this somewhat unusual word. |

Thank you also Frosty. To be honest, I like your suggestion best at this stage. Well actually, Lisa's "display shelf" might be better still!
Rowan Morrell (asker): 11:17am Aug 8, 2005: If it is a base unit - And not a shelf of some sort, I guess you'd be right, Andrew. Having read Brigitte's peer grades, I'm now leaning back to "base unit".
