German term or phrase: Festartikel
Hi all,

this is from a web text of a Swiss chocolate manufacturer.
A table lists product groups as following:
- Schokoladentafeln
- Confiserie
- ***Festartikel***
- Kaugummi
- Halbfabrikate
- Frühstückstisch

Further up, the document talks about "verschiedene Saisonprodukte für Ostern und Weihnachten".

I am unclear if the term in question therefore would mean "seasonal items" or "solid items" (solid blocks of chocolate, etc.).

Thank you.

seasonal articles
Explanation:
See first link!

"festive articles" by European definition seem to exclude chocolate (see second link)

"Festartikel" als Schokoladenblöcke zu interpretieren scheint mir unwahrscheinlich...

Viel Spaß! Nettes Thema!

agree  Wendy Streitparth: UMHO products or items rather than articles. I don't think one would refer to chocolate as an article in English.
