German term or phrase: Edelpilz

From a description of cep mushrooms (Steinpilze):

"Der Steinpilz ist auch als Edelpilz bekannt"

after checking on the net I found "fine mushroom".

Does anyone have a more accurate term?

Thanks to all who replied. Lesley was also correct with alternative names for the Steinpilz, however since this has to do wtih advertising, "gourmet" works reallly well.
