agree  Trudy Peters: I've also seen "dry weight" (such as in a jar of olives) // My jar of olives that are packed in water and spices does say "dry wt."

  -> thanks, Trudy. I think there is a difference between 'Trockengewicht' (which is used for rice or paste) and 'Abtropfgewicht', but that's not really my field.
