David, you answered already my first question about 'arbeiten'. Thank you for your detailed explanation. They use the expression 'ruhig' as opposed to wood that still "works/settles". Supposedly 'ruhig' wood is better than 'working' wood. Would you have a word in this context for 'ruhig'?
