Es geht hier um die Minderung gasförmiger Emissionen bei der Spanplattenherstellung:

Absorption: Bei dem Absorptionsverfahren werden die Schadstoffe (saure Gase
wie z. B. SO2, HCl, HF) mittels einer **Waschflüssigkeit** aus dem Abgas **ausgewaschen**.
Durch Zugabe von Chemikalien wird der Wirkungsgrad des Abscheiders
erhöht. Ohne Chemikalienzugabe könnte mit einem Wäscher nur durch permanente
Frischwasserzufuhr ein gleichwertiger **Auswascheffekt** erzielt werden. Die
**Waschflüssigkeit** sollte weitgehend zirkuliert werden, um den Abwasseranfall zu
minimieren. Abscheideleistungen zwischen 20 und 60 % sind möglich.

Ich tue mich hier mit dem Begriff "auswaschen" recht schwer; daher jetzt schon vielen Dank für Eure Hilfe!

In this context, I'd use the term "scrubbing liquid" because the waste gas is most likely cleaned in a so-called (wet) scrubber (Gaswäscher).
