Coil is the number of times the spring wire is wound round the mandrel (dorn)- in this case six.
It's a coil spring, but we're already using the word coil, so we call it a compression spring which is a general term for a coil spring.
We don't say cylindrical spring- this is taken for granted.
If the spring is tapered, then we say tapered coil/compression spring.
