Der allergnädigsten Bittgewähr vollkommen zu entsprechen, wird sein eifrigstes Bestreben seyn.

Unterthänigster Diener .....

This is from a job application at the beginning of the 19th century.
Any ideas how to translate this?! For Bittgewähr -- der Bitte nachkommen-diese gewähren -- I don't like terms like petition (eher Bittstellung) etc. or poss.: If his petition/request is granted then.....

That's how I understand the sentence unless, of course, the context disagrees with this interpretation. I have inserted the "Lady" due to the missing context. You could use whatever substantive fits here.

I know it is. Who is the "allergnaedigste" here? This is why I said I used the "lady" version because I do not have a clue who is being referred to. Basically, all you have to do is figure that out and use instead of "lady". Well, "desire" could read "request" or "requirement" as "Bittgewaehr" can be translated with these two words. The rest could stay as it is, IMHO. Some more context perhaps?
