agree orla: I prefer using "Land" in English with an explanation if needed - Federal/German state etc gets too confusing in certain contexts. many do want a translation tho - the capital of the German state. (to Rebecca) Land/Laender are used in all EU documents.

disagree Rebecca Garber: Land capital only appears in German websites, not English ones. The term googles high, but the web sites are about capital funding projects, not the locations of state governments.
