German to English translations [PRO] Science - Geology | | German term or phrase: Schwellengebiet | As I am in general undecided whether Schwelle is best translated as a rise or a ridge, I am further unsure how to translate this into English geo-parlance.
A sample sentence:
"Somit dürfte der breite Rudistenkalkgürtel zwischen xx und yy ein Schwellengebiet des Zeitraumes zzz nachzeichnen."
Any suggestions or advice would be great. Thanks! |
