It is the measurements from two different sources which are compared - not the analysis (which is a process). Lead does not need and should not have a capital letter in English. The context ensures that there is no misunderstanding possible.

I have to disagree with Bernd in the discussion but agree with his answer. I think analysis is much better here. "Analysis of the lead isotopte proved that the same source...."

Vielleicht passt measurement ja hier besser, weil der Nachweis (konnte nachgewiesen werden) quasi der Analysis-Anteil ist ;-)
