Nm vs. nm

German term or phrase: Nm vs. nm
I have looked up Nm^3 vs. nm^3 and think that I should leave them both as they were originally but would just like confirmation that that's not an incorrect thing to do. Specifically I don't really understand why they are labeled differently unless they are two different measurements, in which case I don't think I understand what nm would mean in this context. Here's how they appeared as part of a degasification section of an oil production/hole drilling document.

Rsb = 20.3 (cubed)/nm (cubed)

Nm^3 = normal cubic meter (or please correct me if that's not right)
nm^3= different measurement? Why else would it be nm^3 when the top one was Nm^3? Since the only thing I could find for nm was nanometer, I am guessing it's not the right abbreviation.

Please help to clarify if possible. Thank you!

First, I think nm3 is just a typo for Nm3, which is an outdated form (yes, I kinow, you're dealing with historical data) of what today is abbreviated as Vn

Normkubikmeter/Normalkubikmeter - Vn - are the correct standard terms in german:

Thank you. I'm glad to have these equivalents but think that ultimately I will stick with what it has in the text since the capitalization (or noncapitalization) seemed very consistent and usually a unit of measure wouldn't be used over itself (Nm/Nm). However, thank you for finding the English equivalent and changing old data to its current use.
