German term or phrase: symbol _*_
Does anyone know what does this symbol means when on an official German document? I think it has something to do with "end," as it comes at the end of a document. What would be the appropriate translation? I appreciate any thoughts from legal translators

To tell you the truth, I don't know if any symbol like this is standard for US English documents.

It still seems to unclear if the translator is to add this translation or not, as US documents do nott normally have this phrase at the end of them.
