German to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Government / Politics / a bureau which is part of a Samtgemeinde
German term or phrase: Bürgerbüro
What is the Anglo-Saxon equivalent?
Thanks in advance.

English translation:Advice Centre/Center
Explanation:
Without any further context I think this straightforward translation is all that can be expected. I don't know what asker means by Anglo-Saxon, the term I have suggested is English as spoken in many countries worldwide. The term ought to be acceptable internationally. Citizens' Advice Bureau is such a centre in UK, but that term might not be readily understood in say, South Africa, or Jamaica, or the Irish Republic.

Citizens' Advice Bureau is what I used. Good for use in Israel. At least you understand what it means. Advice Centre is too general.

agree  Inge Luus: Citizens' Advice Bureau is understood in South Africa (probably being ex-Commonwealth), although not many such centres still exist here
