die Einordnung Technik/Geschichte ist vielleicht etwas merkwürdig, aber es geht um historische Stadtbeleuchtung:
"28. Januar 1835: Misslungener Versuch am Rossplatz, das teure Rüb- und Leinöl durch
Knochengas zu ersetzen."
Klingt gruselig - den einzigen anderen passenden Zusammenhang habe ich hier gefunden, S. 6, re Spalte oben:
