German to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Human Resources / Reward schemes
German term or phrase: Aufbau von Platzierungen
From a business textbook - chapter dealing with commission, bonus schemes etc:

"Ansatzpunkte für Zusatzprämien sind:

- Umsatzseigerung gegenüber dem Vorjahr
. Steigerung der Auftragshäufigkeit pro Kundenbesuch [...]
- Förderung spezieller Zusatzleistungen (Aufbau von Platzierungen beim Kunden,..."

Does this mean something like "improving the company's position as a favoured supplier with the customer"?

TIA!

client placement metrics

Explanation:
This seems to relate to commission payments due to referrers who succeed in convincing investors to "place" their funds in specific instruments. "Private placements" is a common term in the financial services industry, so I suppose this should work. You could use "statistics" instead of "metrics".

Because a broker or a referrer "places" investment instruments (fund units, stocks, bonds) "with" a client. I'm just streamlining the suggestion by dumping a preposition. The benchmark would be: how many investments did you place with your customer group this quarter?
