Bus/Financial - Human Resources / sales management
German term or phrase: Vorleistungsmethode
From a Business studies textbook - this passage deals with the various stages of a sales visit. They're talking here about "die 2. Phase / die Kontaktherstellungsphase"

I would have thought of "prior performance", but it doesn't seem to fit very well with the other conversational gambits mentioned. Could it mean "talking about what your company has already done/achieved" or something?

TIA!

"Der Verkäufer kann - entsprechend der Situation und seiner Persönlichkeit - bspw. auf die Kompliment-Methode, die Frage-Methode oder die Vorleistungsmethode zurückgreifen"

Explanation:
Actually I have very little doubt about that. I wrote about 1,500 words about the various mathods (in English) when answering a so-called Discussion Question as part of the Liverpool MBA programme. So... I AM sure.
