German term or phrase:Marktwertzulage
Has anyone ever heard of a 'market-value allowance' in English. The German-Dutch glossary entry provides a good explanation in German, not sure what we would actually say in English.
Context: 'Die Hoehe der Marktwertzulage muss dokumentiert werden'.

Explanation: Habe im Netz geforscht und lediglich 3 Seiten mit dem Begriff Marktwertzulage als zusammengesetztes Noun gefunden. Jedoch etliche mit Marktwert und Zulage.
Ich nehme daher an, es handelt sich hier entweder um eine Wortneuschoepfung oder ein Versehen.
Im Human Resource Bereich bedeutet es: Marktwert des Angestellten und gehaltliche Zulagen. Im Steuerbereich und Finanzwesen kann es sich auch um schaatliche Subventionen handeln. Mehr Kontext waere hier hilfreich.

Explanation: Does it really involve employees? Then it might concern some bonus payment. As it is, I can think of a company takeover, i.e., the enterprise value measured by stock price is 100 million, but the acquirer will offer the holders a 'premium to market value', say 120 million, as an incentive to owners to vote for the sale. It's practically a given that a 'Marktwertzulage' is offered, the amount depends on how badly the suitor really wants it.
