"L'Allemagne - deux points" for expanding the abbreviation. I had already translated "Betriebsvereinbarung" as "works agreement" but didn't recognise it here. By the way, folks, because of KudoZ regulations whereby I cannot post a term of more than three letters, I had to add "Schichtmodelle" and make it clear (as I did) that I only wanted "BV".

disagree  Kim Metzger: I couldn't be so confident, relying on Leo. It's called a Works Agreement in the EU. http://www.eurofound.europa.eu/emire/GERMANY/WORKSAGREEMENT-... In the US, company collective agreement would also work.
