Explanation:
I would omit drohenden. It wouldn't work to translate it literally. And it is somewhat implied in the grievance. Besides, when looking at the parallel Rechtsstreitigkeiten - Klagen and bedeutsamen - drohenden, I understand drohenden as a threat to their business. But I may be overinterpreting.

  -> Not so. You can have grievances against insurance companies too, and against lawyers and against a landlord and against a town or a county or a state or a government (even if you are not employed by them) and probably many more. And in the US too.
