aus einer von einer österreichischen Versicherung in Auftrag gegebenen "Vertriebsstudie". Dabei geht es um die Frage, wie und wo in Österreich Versicherungen abgeschlossen werden - bei einem Versicherungsvertreter, in Banken, bei Maklern etc. Bei der Übersetzung dieses Wortes "Abschlussort" habe ich Probleme - bitte um eure Hilfe! Das Dokument ist zur internen Information der Versicherung gedacht. Ein "alternativer Abschlussort" kann z.B. das Internet sein.
Die Studie soll ein umfassendes Bild zum Thema Versicherungsvertrieb in Österreich liefern. Näher beleuchtet werden dabei der von den Kunden präferierte Vertriebskanal (bei wem wird in erster Linie abgeschlossen) und *Abschlussort*, alternative *Abschlussorte*, das Ausmaß an Beratung und Betreuung, die Nutzung der Geschäftsstelle sowie das Thema Kundenbindung.

In the UK we refer rather to "point" of sale.....which would then neatly cover all different "places" of sale.

it explains it quite neatly (in fact there is a whole section referrring to it):
"Point of sale and service solutions in the insurance industry can increase customer satisfaction and provide product and brand differentiation while ..."
