Literal, but could work well here. It sounds logical. A concept is developed and adapted for the new marketing process.

The legal department could also very well give a hand here! In order to ensure the legal side of the new concept. Since it is apparently a firm internal matter they are not exactly going to employ Saatchi & Saatchi. Or maybe are they!? The context does not really explain who would be in charge of implementing the changes or checking on the new concept.

Asker: I don't really understand what the Legal Department would be checking? Would the legal dept of an insurance company really be asked to review the "adaptation concept"??

agree  Kcda: I believe the wording "adaptation concept" for short can very well sum up "concepts/programs/schemes" for adjusting judicial changes since the asker is apparently looking for a word combination. But your lengthily version is also correct.
