Freiwillig Versicherte erhalten nur dann eine Erwerbsminderungsrente, wenn sie bereits vor dem 1. Januar 1984 die allgemeine Wartezeit von fünf Jahren (=60 Monaten) erfüllt hatten und ab 1. Januar 1984 jeden Monat mit rentenrechtlichen Zeiten belegt haben. Hierzu zählen:
• Beitragszeiten
• Anrechnungszeiten
• Berücksichtigungszeiten wegen Kindererziehung oder der nicht erwerbsmäßigen Pflege eines Pflegebedürftigen
• frühere Rentenbezugszeiten wegen Berufs- oder Erwerbsunfähigkeit
