So in this case yes, German scientists may have to give up their Beamtenstatus to work abroad, which down the line severely impacts their retirement income.
So Altersgeld here may denote a pot-pourris of retirement income coming from various sources, perhaps made up of some basic Volksrente and other incomes from statutory pension schemes, partial civil service pensions, company pensions, supplemental pension policies, and private/company savings plans. |
