Es geht darum, die vom Arbeitgeber bereitgestellte Grundversorgung durch Eigenbeteiligung zu ergänzen. Gibt es dafür einen feststehenden Begriff im Englischen oder ist "participation pension scheme" vielleicht so akzeptabel.

Would this perhaps be anything to do with VW? Most of the references to Beteiligungsrente seem to involve Volkswagen, e.g.
