Bus/Financial - Insurance / Kfz-Versicherung
German term or phrase: fiktive Abrechnung
This term has arisen several times not in a specific text but in the course of training (my job involves part translating and part training). In the area of car insurance, the insured has the option of acceopting a sum of money in lieu of having the car repaired. This is subject to certain conditions: the indemnification in this case is indicated on a "fiktive Abrechung" which stands for the estimated sum which would have to be paid for repairs if they were carried out. My translation for this is "nominal billing" or "nominal invoice". Am I right?
It would be useful to have a confirmation and maybe other suggestions.

notional invoice
Explanation:
notional invoice / calculation

As I already commented, I suggest "notional" is more accurate here.

I intended to write notional and not nominal, and notional it is. It is useful to add this to the glossary. Many thanks. YorickJ
