Hi - thank you to the first person who commented for pointing out the mistakes I made while typing. I was working with a pdf so had to type it out myself and obviously wasn't paying enough attention. Definitely not reversiert, though.
I've though about it and now believe that reservieren here means to 'set a reserve', so something similar to what Dr Lofthouse said.

I think it could mean the 'booked' or 'reserved' premium, i.e. reinsured at the premium that has already been agreed.

did you mean to type:
Herr .... erörtert, dass Finanzierungsrückversicherungsverträge geschlossen wurden, bei denen Originalprämien dem Rückversichererzur Verfügung gestellt werden, der auch mit den Prämien reserviert (not reversiert - right?) -- now as far as "reserviert" is concerned, would "allocate" make sense in the wider context? "reserves" would only make sense to me if its is "reserves a claim" reserves allocation of etc. Maybe if you give us the previous and next sentence, we could be of more help. Is this Austrian or Swiss?
