I don't think it's as simple as "business description". I think this is part of the proposal when the company takes out an insurance policy, which is decisive for the amount of premiums to be paid and what liabilities are covered.

business description
Explanation:
First of all, this is quite obviously a typo for "Betriebsbeschreibung", just as "betreibsüblich" is an impossible word (i.e.=betriebsüblich).
I agree that this is probably a prerequisite to applying for an insurance policy. However, in this context "Betrieb" is not likely to be limited to plant operations or the like (warehouse etc) but will include all other aspects of the business as well. The nature of the business e.g. the kinds of goods or services offered, the kinds of customers, whether wholesale or retail etc, will be taken into consideration when calculating risks and thus premiums.
I assume that the content of this "business description" will be dictated by the insurance company (i.e. as part of the contract) and thus it is not to be compared with the "business description" published by the company itself.

Explanation:
or "description of the operation".
Depends how wide their operating spectrum is, but I think this is how I'd probably view it.
