Explanation:
Just another choice, this refers to an area in which insurance rates are high due to a potential natural disaster, these areas were originally designated in Switzerland as high risk avalanche areas but have since been extended to flood zones, fault lines, and other high risk areas for natural disasters. I just had a course in legal translation at NYU and we covered this subject. Gefahrstellen are rated by numbers or colors, and different insurance regulations apply to each level, even Bauverbot, as explained in the reference I cited.
