German term or phrase: Arbeitsmiete/Dienstmiete
From a Swiss insurance contract: this is a similar clause I found on the internet:

obviously dienstmiete/arbeitsmiete refers to a type of employment relationship. My undersatnding based on a bit of research is that it basically means if you hire somebody to a specific job - say a plumber to fid the plumbing - then he will be paid aan arbeitsmiete/dienstmiete.

I can only think of a paraphrase translation, or possibly saying "casual employment relationship" or words to that effect, but that strikes me as not quite right.

anyone come across this and any suggestions

locatio conductio operarum (contract of lease of services)
Explanation:
This is for Dienstmiete via latin. Since this terms seems to be derived from roman law:

römisches Recht mandatum = freier Auftrag
locatio conductio rei = Sklavenmiete
locatio conductio operarum = Dienstmiete

Could "Arbeitsmiete" refer to "locatio conductio operis (the letting and hiring of work)"? Would make sense. Let's see if I can find some references.

An exact rendering of arbeitsmiete/dienstmiete may not be possible, is this a workable approximation?
