German term or phrase: Abruf
Please can someone tell me what the correct term for 'calling up ' a website is. The heading is 'Abrufgebiet' (i.e. only EU) ('call-up area'?) and the verb is used in connection with a website. 'Call up' sounds right to me, but I cannot find any confirmation of that.

neutral  opolt: This would normally refer to the user (client side, browser in most cases) connecting to the web server, more or less actively and on purpose. Technically speaking, there's not that much difference, but with "Abruf" the focus is more on "requesting" etc.
