Bodensatz -> stable base ? 13:22 Dec 10, 2011
Sorry, but I could not find a term similar to "Bodensatz" used in English.
What I did find in German indicates that "Bodensatz" refers to the portion of the capital invested that remains as a stable "core" or "base" in spite of the inflows and outflows of funds due to new issues and redemptions.
The "Kompensationseffekt" is simply that issues and redemptions compensate each other in terms of inflows and outflows of funds, thereby resulting in a stable base of invested capital (so that there is no need to sell existing assets or buy new assets). |
