Ausserstande zu antworten
The alarm in question is a programme alarm to remind someone that they need to make an entry in their medical e-diary. The "ausserstande zu antworten" can be selected as a reply. Translated literally I guess it would be "incapable of replying", but I think that sounds very strange in this kind of context in English. "No specific reason" maybe, or is it too far from the original? Thanks. |
