German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - IT (Information Technology) / Software | | German term or phrase: mandantenfähig | "Als mandantenfähig wird Informationstechnik bezeichnet, die auf demselben Server oder demselben Software-System mehrere Mandanten, also Kunden oder Auftraggeber, bedienen kann, ohne dass diese gegenseitigen Einblick in ihre Daten, Benutzerverwaltung und ähnliches haben." Soweit http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandantenfähigkeit
In my case it's a software solution employed by large multinational companies, and therefore, for example, supporting the use of GUIs in different languages, different calendars, time zones etc. It is not hosted by the software provider but by the companies themselves.
Dictionaries suggest "multi-client capable" but searching Google I got the impression, this might be an artificial term. German Wikipedia links to the English "multitenant" but if I got it right that implies SaaS.
I am pretty sure there must be an English term for this concept. Can anybody help?
Thanks a lot |
