Tech/Engineering - IT (Information Technology) / Evaluation/Microsoft Excel | | German term or phrase: Trichterfang | Has anyone heard of this tool in the context of Microsoft Excel. The tool is used for evaluation. They also refer to a tool known as 'Kugelfang' (separate query).
"Für die Analyse wird das Werkzeug „Trichterfang“ verwendet. Mit ihm lässt sich bei gedrückter Maustaste ein Raumausschnitt um ein Element herum aufziehen. Der Öffnungswinkel des Raumausschnitts wird in der Kopfzeile angezeigt; bei einfachem Mausklick auf das Element wird ein Winkel von 30 Grad eingestellt. Aussagen, die innerhalb dieses Ausschnitts und damit in einer ähnlichen Raumrichtung wie das gewählte Element liegen, verfärben sich gelb und werden im rechten Auswertungsfenster angezeigt. Die Reihenfolge der Liste entspricht allerdings (anders als beim Werkzeug „Kugelfang“) nicht der Reihenfolge, in der die Aussagen erfasst werden."
