German term or phrase: verwaltende Administratoren-Gruppe
This is part of a German software manual...this bit is about specific user rights that are depending on whether the user is a member of the 'verwaltende Administoren Gruppe'. I'm struggling to find a translation for 'verwaltende' that is not 'administrative' (btw - the term 'administrator group' is pre-defined).

Any ideas?

authorized administrative group
Explanation:
I worked at a software company for years and I believe the issue here is one of "permissions" thus the authorized group, since you are talking about which group is permitted / authorized to have those specific user rights.

verwaltende Administratoren Gruppe
managing Administrator(s) group

Explanation:
or "managing administrator(s) group". Since you indicated "administrator group" as a predefined term, you should definitely stick with it. "Manage" is the verb commonly used in this context, you can manage devices, networks, and of course users or groups etc.

You might want to use a "Administrator" (i.e. with capitalized first letter) if this is the actual group name.

Here is some context for the use of "manage":

verwaltende Administratoren Gruppe
computer administrator group

Explanation:
this is the term used in Microsoft Windows for those persons allowed to change settings in the computer, so if this concerns installation under Windows, this could be the proper term.

Other environments (UNIX, IBM Mainframe) may use different terms.
