German term or phrase: (CAD-Daten) aufarbeiten
"Mit dem begleitenden Softwarepaket werden CAD-Daten zu Fräsprogrammen aufgearbeitet, Fräsprogramme ausgeführt und Messungen gegen CAD-Daten durchgeführt."

Dieser Satz ist ebenso in der technischen Produktbroschüre der Messmaschine enthalten. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, was hier mit "aufarbeiten" gemeint ist? Verarbeitet in, oder konvertiert in (processed into, converted to)?

Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen, der sich mit CAD-Daten auskennt?

Ich bin in diesem Bereich leider kein Fachmann aber normalerweise kann man "aufarbeiten" mit "process" oder auch "prepare (data)" uebersetzen.

Ohne Näheres über das Softwarepaket zu wissen, nehme ich an, es geht um die Verwendung von CAD-Daten in CNC-Programmen.
