neutral R. A. Stegemann: This is unlikely correct as days, weeks, months, and years can all be expressed as continues graphs. One only has to connect the points between time intervals. // Since the data are provided in table form, you explanation leaves much to be desired.

  -> I referred to continuous as not time-delimited (as in Tages- or Jahreskurve), but spanning the entire observation period; I may be wrong.
