If there is no other occurrence of Brennposition in the document you're translating, I'd highly recommend you ask the client. Anything else would be very speculative. -

Instinctively, I'd say it does not refer to a physical position but rather to an item in a list of documents to be burned on the CD-R. (i.e. in the same vein as Auftragsposition, Vertragsposition, Bestellposition etc.) -
